The decisions underneath it — what Claude can see, touch, and spend, and where prompts and responses go — are yours to make, and they are the part that decides whether it is safe.

Do I need a harness for Claude Force?

It depends on the use case, not the product. A read-only use case for trained staff with a least-privilege identity can be a direct-connection candidate. Write-back to production records, whole-record payloads, or an admin identity need a harness in the middle. This assessment scores where your org sits, per use case.

Is my Salesforce data used to train Claude?
